Background
From Newark, California; transferred to UCSC from Foothill Community College.  First-generation college student.  When living in Washinton State, she was able to take community college courses while still enrolled in high school.

Activities/Interests
Student rep on UCSC's Committee on Admissions and Financial Aid; events chair of the Pre-Law Society; business manager for the student-run literary publication Red Whellbarrow; active in the Student Union Assembly; lives in International Living Center (ILC).
