Summer Academy Students

Financial Aid Overview 

To assist with costs, our office offers up to $2,800 in grant funding for Academy Students based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA (or Dream Application if applicable). The average estimated budget for Academy Students is $6,297 which includes  tuition, housing, personal expenses, transportation, ect. Eligibility Requirements

A 2018-2019 FAFSA is needed for new students to receive financial aid for the 2019 summer quarter. This is in addition to the 2019-2020 FAFSA you must file for the upcoming school year.

  • Submit a 2018-2019 FAFSA by June 27.

  • If selected for verification, the priority deadline to submit the required documents is July 19
  • The Summer Academy is a 7 credit program. You must remain enrolled in and complete all courses to maintain aid eligibility.

  • If you applied for financial aid at a prior institution for 2018-2019, make a correction to this FAFSA and include UC Santa Cruz School Code 001321.
