Summer Academy Students

To assist with costs, our office offers up to $2,844 in grant funding for First Year Academy Students and $2,735 for Transfer Academy Students.* For more information on the summer academies available click here.

Eligibility Requirements

A 2017-2018 FAFSA is needed for new students to receive financial aid for the 2018 summer quarter. This is in addition to the 2018-2019 FAFSA you must file for the upcoming school year.

First Year Students:

  • Submit a 2017-2018 FAFSA and enroll in Summer Academy courses by June 15.

  • The Summer Academy is a 7 unit program. You must remain enrolled in and complete all courses to maintain aid eligibility.

Transfer Students:

  • If you applied for financial aid at a prior institution for 2017-2018, make a correction to this FAFSA and include UC Santa Cruz School Code 001321.

  • Must enroll in Summer Academy courses by June 15.

  • The Summer Academy is a 7 unit program. You must remain enrolled in and complete all courses to maintain aid eligibility.
