Financial Aid Calculator

Financial Aid Calculator

Wondering how much financial aid you might receive at UC Santa Cruz? The Net Price Calculator can help you estimate your cost of attendance and potential aid for the 2025–26 academic year. It’s a quick, easy tool for full-time undergraduate students planning to start in Fall 2025.

By answering a few basic questions, you’ll get a personalized estimate, but keep in mind this is not a financial aid application and does not guarantee actual aid offers. To apply for financial aid, you’ll need to complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application.

You can get an aid estimate by providing your Student Aid Index (SAI) or using the following documents and information:

  • Federal Income Tax Return filed by the student and the student’s parent(s) from two years ago (e.g., the 2025-2026 estimator will use 2023 tax return information)
  •  W-2 forms and/or pay stubs with year-to-date information for the student and parent(s) from two years ago (e.g., the 2025-2026 estimator will use 2023 tax information)
  •  Current value of assets

It’s important to remember that the estimated values produced by the calculator are not the actual amounts that students will be offered. All estimates are subject to the availability of funding. We encourage you to review the privacy policies prior to utilizing the calculator tool.

To begin the financial aid application process, you will need to complete either a FAFSA or California Dream Act Application. The California Dream Act Application requires AB540 eligibility.
