The Financial Aid Office are highly committed to the success of our Transfer students, and are proud of the many who have been selected to join our campus. Beyond financial resources, students can access the varies support programs available through our campus partners. Below is a list of resources available to transfer students.
This program provides emergency support for students experiencing an urgent/immediate crisis and need direct assistance.

The UCSC Slug Support Program was created to promote early intervention with students of concern to prevent culminating problems from escalating into a crisis.The goal of the Slug Support Program is to identify students of concern and develop an action plan focusing on retention through provision of support and resources.
The SUA Student Advocate's Office is a non-partisan, confidential, office of advocates/caseworkers that assist students in need. They address both micro and macro level issues in student life to create a more cohesive, fair, and equitable campus environment.
This program provides culturally responsive support to transfer, re-entry, veteran students, as well as students who do not have traditional family support due to experiences in the foster care system, with homelessness, abuse, parents who have been incarcerated, or other factors impacting their family life.
HUD Assistance
If you qualify to receive subsidized housing through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) but are not receiving HUD assistance, are denied, or are on a waiting list, please contact the financial aid office and provide a copy of the letter you received from HUD. We may consider you for additional financial assistance. If you are not currently receiving HUD assistance, but later become eligible, you must let us know at that time.
