Financial Aid Calculator
The UC Santa Cruz Financial Aid Net Price Calculator is a tool that provides a preliminary financial aid estimate for full-time undergraduate students who plan to enter UC Santa Cruz in the fall of 2024. By answering a few simple questions, the calculator will present you with an estimate of your cost of attendance and financial aid eligibility for the 2024-2025 academic year.
When you complete the calculator online form, you are not applying for aid.
You can get an aid estimate by providing your Student Aid Index (SAI) or using the following documents and information:
- Federal Income Tax Return filed by the student and the student's parent(s) from two years ago (e.g., the 2024-2025 estimator will use 2022 tax return information)
- W-2 forms and/or pay stubs with year-to-date information for the student and parent(s) from two years ago (e.g., the 2024-2025 estimator will use 2022 tax information)
- Current value of assets
It's important to remember that the estimated values produced by the calculator are not the actual amounts that students will be offered. All estimates are subject to the availability of funding. We encourage you to review the privacy policies prior to utilizing the calculator tool.
To begin the actual financial aid application process, you will need to complete either a FAFSA or California Dream Act Application. The California Dream Act Application requires AB540 eligibility.
